I am a creative producer based in Hamburg, who loves producing commercials and branded content. Actually I lived in Canada for the last two years – that’s why we probably don’t know each other yet?! Now that I’m back to business we definitely need to talk. I’m sure you have some questions…
What the heck did I do in Canada for so long?
Are you serious? Ok, I’ll explain…
I moved to Vancouver with my boyfriend Patrick (who is an awesome VFX compositor btw) and the intention to widen my horizon. Which means I did everything other but advertising!
Well, with endless inner-city beaches and a ton of snowcapped mountains just in front of your doorstep that’s not hard. So while exploring the outdoors I became a yogi, trained barista and fluent English speaker. Oh, and for 5 months we traveled in our oldtimer campervan Charlie through whole Canada and USA, to end up falling in love with him and finally shipping him to Europe.
What I did before I gave up my „perfect“ life in Germany to watch Grizzlies and Orcas?
Well, back in 2013 I finished my diploma and started as a junior producer at the film production Bakery Films in Hamburg. I became a producer soon and worked with national as well as international directors for a few well known agencies and their clients like Opel, E.ON, Porsche, Gerolsteiner, Volkswagen, etc…
After four years in a classic production company I felt the urge to change my perspective, so I moved to the in-house film production at Philipp & Keuntje GmbH. There I produced various kinds of commercials for their client Audi, which required a unique close teamwork with art- and creative directors inside the agency.
